first of all, check out dis siq-azz wooden fixie i found in the phily airport...
...yeah, word. the airplane ride after that wasn't to siq at all. never take US Airlines. they suck hard.
but anyways, first day in europe ruled. got in around 11am, immigration and customs was a straight joke. prob coulda rolled in with all our merch in our luggage, but whatevz. (now we gotta deal with having the 3 boxes that costed us like $23423098 to send over to Germany weeks before we left be stuck at customs b/c of stupid bullshit. hopefully we'll be getting them in 3 days).
but non-the-less, day ruuuuled because Boss picked us up and that ruled beyond belief to see that dude again. rolled over to the AK 44 in Giesen, Germany and got some siq falafels. (i'm talking straight BOMB falafels). den we just walked around for a bit...( refer to pic bellow, der)
...needless to say, i was pretty stoked.
so word, we went back to the venue and had some amazing food and met and hung out with some awesome kids. we then proceeded to finish up putting together some limited covers that Juan drew for 20 copies of the "songs about the man" 7inch that we ran out of like 2-3 years ago. (we came up on 20 copies of the vinyl due to "over-run" at the pressing plant, so we hoarded them for a while till europe cause hellza people asked for them last time we waz here). here is what they looked like...(ps...might i add, we somehow managed to sell fuckin ALL of these at this first show!!!!!...???...weird, i think like we might have accidently told people that they were our limited one-time-only, tour, split 7inch with Ceremony or something and only 20 got pressed cause there was an accident at the pressing plant and the record-pressing-machines blew up after only pressing 20 of them cause our shit was just too fuckin loud and heavy and those were the only masters of the recordings we had cause we thought "heh, why do we need to keep copies of the masters for ourselves...what bad thing could happen at the pressing plant?)
then da Trainwreckz showed up! chilled with those dudes for a bit, lost at some games of kicker, drank some beeeerz (not all of us, but you know, just the "drankerz of beerz" of us). and played the show. real good show, saw some awesome girl throw some d-bag out (grabbing him by his d-bag tie that he was wearing) for being stupid and ruining people's good time. saw these 2 kids with acoustic guitars rule the place and play a Defiance, Ohio cover. and T-wreck ruuuuuuled of course. den we played and somehow got tricked into playing 16 songs.
anyways, it is now about 2am, show is over, and the awesome people at the squat we played were all like "you guys wanna go to a shit party?"...and of course i was like "uhhhh, yeah, yeah i really do". so, we've now been awake for close to 48 hours or something ridiculous like that, prob should be going to sleep and getting rest, but going to this hyped-up shit party sounds like a way better idea. so, me, Juan, Wes, a few beerz in hand, and like 10-15 of the COOLEST German hommies roll over to this party. we get to this first one that was blastin electronic jamz like all kinds from down the street and sux cause you hada pay a cover charge to get in. then the kids we were with tell us about some private house party they heard about on the other side of town, so we all walk, bout 15 peepz deep, to this awkward ass house party that apparently no one in our group knew anyone there. (hah, well, i guess it was more awkward for the 10-15 people in the house that were probably bummed that 10-15 new [and clearly much cooler] people just rushed into their "really cool" party). but yeah, got a few bummer eyes and stares, but that didn't stop our crew from finding a half-dranken bottle of tequila and 2 bottles of wine...
...we didn't stay much longer than that. with the bottles of wine in hand, our 15-person crew left the house and headed to the same disco that we destroyed last year while in Giesen. and it just so happened it was "alternative night"...so after raging hard to some nofx, green day, rage against the machine, fat boy slim, and other well-known friends, we called it a night. went back home, went to sleep.
"siq shit" top 5 list for this day:
1. party-Alex
2. all the other "party" people (most including party-Sam among others)
3. rando house party full of not-too-stoked randos
4. seeing the Trainwrecks
5. loosing party-Alex about 5 mins after going to the disco...then finding party-Alex half passed out on some ledge outside the disco about 1 hour later and taking him home.
wow, that sure is one siq azz figzie
